I always manage to time travel to being seventeen years old, deep in the throes between worship and discovery. I cannot get the taste of creation from out of my mouth, but it's like my tastebuds have lost their purpose. Everything is sticky and bitter, like toffee in the bottom of your grandmother's purse.
